Remembering Judith Sanson

The Adult Dyslexia Organisation is sad to announce the death of Judith Sanson (14 February, 1942 – 13 June, 2021). Judith was the founder and Chair of Dyslexia and Literacy International (D&LI). She advocated and lobbied tirelessly worldwide for the interests of people with dyslexia. She partnered with UNESCO, the World Forums, scientists, and psychologists for people to have free access to dyslexia-related resources and courses. Her kindness, generosity and support will not be forgotten.

As a founding member of the Dyslexia and Literacy International (D&LI), https://www.facebook.com/DyslexiaInternational/ I’m pleased to see her legacy and work will continue. I purposely will miss a good friend and colleague.

Access to her online course for teachers is now available through the European Dyslexia Association website at https://onlinecourse.eda-info.eu/. EDA is to continue the legacy of her work by maintaining and developing these free courses.
